The short version. SolvingHealth stores what you choose to put in it so the people caring for you can find it. We do not sell your information. We do not advertise to you. We are not your doctor, and nothing here is medical advice. You can delete your account and your data at any time.
1. What SolvingHealth is
SolvingHealth builds software used by clinicians and care organizations. This page covers our websites and the accounts people create on them.
SolvingHealth is a technology company. It is not a medical provider, not a health plan, and not an emergency service. It does not diagnose, treat, or make clinical decisions. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Nothing on this site is medical, legal, or tax advice.
2. What we collect
You give us
Account information — your email address, and a name if you provide one.
Care information you enter — which may include health-related details such as conditions, medications, care preferences, contacts, and documents you upload.
Messages you send us.
Collected automatically
Basic usage analytics — pages viewed, approximate region, device type. We do not use advertising trackers.
Standard server logs, including IP address, retained for security purposes.
3. AI processing — stated plainly
Some features use artificial intelligence to help draft, summarize, or organize what you enter. When you use those features, the text you submit is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a response.
We use AI to assist you — never to make a decision about your care.
AI output can be wrong. Anything generated should be reviewed by you and, where it matters, by a clinician.
We do not permit our providers to use your content to train their public models.
If you would rather not use AI features, do not enter information into them; the rest of SolvingHealth works without them.
4. What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. Not to advertisers, data brokers, insurers, or employers.
We do not show you ads, and we do not accept payment to influence what you see.
We do not share your information with anyone except as described in Section 5.
5. Who we share with
People you choose. If you share your card with a family member, caregiver, or clinician, they see what you shared with them.
Service providers who operate the product on our behalf — hosting, database, email, and AI processing — under contract, limited to that purpose.
When legally required — a valid subpoena, court order, or where necessary to prevent serious harm.
A successor if the business is transferred. You would be notified first and could delete your account.
6. A note about HIPAA
Information you enter yourself into a consumer product is generally not protected health information under HIPAA, because we are not acting as your healthcare provider or their business associate when you use SolvingHealth on your own. We protect it anyway, under this policy and applicable state privacy law. We tell you this because the difference is real and you deserve to know it, not because it lowers our obligations to you.
7. Your choices
See it — request a copy of what we hold about you.
Correct it — fix anything inaccurate.
Delete it — delete your account and its contents. We remove it from active systems promptly and from backups on our normal backup cycle.
Leave — export what you have entered and stop using the service, at any time.
Colorado residents have additional rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including the right to opt out of profiling and to appeal a denied request. Residents of other states may have comparable rights. Ask and we will honor them regardless of where you live.
8. Security, honestly stated
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to people who need it to operate the service, and we log administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and tell you what happened.
9. Retention
We keep your information while your account is active. After deletion we remove it from active systems, retaining only what a specific law requires us to keep and for no longer than that requires.
10. Children
SolvingHealth is for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. A parent or guardian may of course record information about a person they care for.
11. Terms of use
Use SolvingHealth lawfully, and only for information you have a right to record.
You keep ownership of what you enter. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display it to you and to those you share it with.
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by Colorado law.
12. Paid features
If you buy a paid plan, the price, billing period, and cancellation terms are shown at checkout before you pay. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. We do not bill you for a renewal without telling you first.
13. Changes
If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the date above and notify account holders. Continuing to use SolvingHealth after a change means you accept it.
14. Contact
Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy: use the contact form on this site. We answer.
